Fun in Milan

Some people claim that they live for travelling. Well, lucky them, they must have a lot of money. Because let’s be honest, no matter where you go, you are surely going to spend a lot more than just a month’s salary. Well, I suppose it’s worth saving, because afterall travelling is an awesome experience and it’s worth all the money you work for.

I guess I was lucky because I didn’t have to save anything to go to Milan, italy. I just earned some cash and since I was bored I wanted to do something crazy. So I booked a hotel and the next thing I know is that I was on a plane to Milan.

At first I was pretty shocked that I had the courage to just pack a few clothes up and go. I am that kind of person that needs to plan ahead and have every detail figured out. But not this time.

The idea just hit me and then the very next day I was already in Italy, in a city I’ve never been to before and I didn’t know much about. I didn’t even ask a friend to come with me, I was all by myself.

But that wasn’t a problem actually. I would say I am pretty friendly and I make acquitances really easily. And I did. I met a few people that showed me around.

We visited the Duomo of Milan, been to Sforzesco Castle and also stopped by Santa Maria della Grazie church. I was pretty impressed that Italians are so sweet and kind to foreign people. I mean, if I bumped into a person from another country who asks me to show him or her around, I wouldn’t really consider it. I don’t know why, but then again people from different countries have different conceptions about strangers.
